Purolator Specialized Services No Charge Create return shipping labels to include with your outbound shipment or provide to your customer at a later date. Simply login to Purolator E-Ship™ Online or Purolator E-Ship™ Server to generate return shipping labels at no additional charge.
Returns Management Service (within Canada) This service allows you to create return shipping labels without an associated outbound shipment. Use Purolator E-Ship Server to create return labels that can either be e-mailed, or printed and sent to your customer at no additional charge.
$23.00 per Shipment - When the workweek is over, but you still need a shipment delivered on a Saturday, rely on Purolator’s Saturday Service. Guaranteed delivery by 5 p.m. Saturday (shipment picked up on Friday) or delivery by 5 p.m. Monday (shipment picked up on Saturday) or your money back. Saturday delivery is available to Canadian and U.S. destinations only. Saturday pickup for Monday delivery is not available to U.S. destinations.
No charge – We offer "signature not required" (SNR) services within Canada that authorize drop offs without a signature. SNR service can also be arranged by the originator of the shipment - "Origin Signature Not Required" (O-SNR). This prearranged agreement with either the shipper or the receiver of the goods offers your customers and you added convenience and flexibility. We offer a Single Shipment Use form to make it easy for you to authorize a one-time SNR delivery and a Multiple Shipment Use form to authorize all shipments to be delivered by Purolator without a signature, whether you're the sender or the receiver. Note: for addresses identified by Purolator as "Residential", the driver has the authority to automatically leave the shipments without a signature if the drop-off locations is determined to be safe and secure.
Residential Signature Required $2.90 per shipment – For those addresses identified by Purolator as "Residential", we offer a "signature required" option that will ensure a shipment is not released without a signature. To select this option, simply login to Purolator E-Ship Online and select the "signature required" option. Note: if you do not select this option when shipping to a residential address, the driver has the authority to automatically leave shipments without a signature if the drop-off location is determined to be safe and secure.
No charge – Customers may request that a shipment be held at Purolator's delivery depot closest to the receiver's address for in-person pick up, in place of having the shipment delivered to the delivery address indicated on the Bill of Lading. Note: This service is only available in Canada.
$38.00 per Shipment - Safe and secure shipment of regulated materials that requires special handling and documentation. Dangerous Goods must be tendered for shipment in a manner conforming with all applicable laws and regulations for air and/or ground transport.
$12.00 per Piece - Purolator's Chain of Signature (COS) service provides secure transportation of controlled items for shipments that require multiple signatures throughout the transportation route. Only customers authorized by Purolator may send COS shipments. If you ship high volumes of COS shipments, Purolator can provide automated solutions to streamline your shipping process. For added convenience, special COS thermal labels are available through Purolator E-Ship™ Solutions.

$15.00 per Piece - Purolator recognizes that customers often have items to ship that do not conform to our regular package specifications. We are usually able to accommodate your requirements, whether it's a one-time event or a regularly occurring shipment. You can rely on Purolator to manage the process smoothly and effectively.
As conveyor systems at our processing facilities are often not suitable for certain items such as heavy weight packages or non-packaged goods, we manually handle these items – with one or two people, using specialized equipment.
Items which require “Special Handling”, include without limitation:
$12.00 per Shipment - This service provides a convenient way for you to collect payment for goods being shipped within Canada. With ExpressCheque, Purolator collects your non-cash payment for you at the same time your shipment is delivered. Once we collect your payment*, we immediately forward it to you. ExpressCheque is available for shipments within Canada using any of our Purolator E-Ship TM Solutions.
When shipping to the U.S. or other international countries most shipments are subject to the assessment of duties and taxes imposed by the importing country's government. It is imperative to consider the effects of these fees when determining your costs to do business. Purolator Delivery Services and any applicable Purolator Specialized Services and additional service charges do not include duties or brokerage fees, so you must pay any fees related to the shipment to Purolator's designated customs broker or your own customs broker. No declared value charge is applied to shipments (except Purolator Same Day shipments) with a declared value (for Purolator liability purposes) of up to CDN $100.00. If the shipper declares a value for Purolator liability purposes over CDN $100.00 (to a maximum of CDN $5000.00), a surcharge of 4.5% of the amount of the declared value will be applied to the cost of the shipment.
*Acceptable forms of payment are cheques, postdated cheques, money orders and bank drafts. Purolator makes no representation regarding the validity of the cheque received and assumes no liability in the event the cheque is not honoured.
